Houston, TX- The first annual High School Baseball National Championship is coming to a close, with one game left to decide the champion. The championship match is set for tomorrow June 27th, at Constellation Field in Houston, TX. The two teams that will play for the title aired on ESPNU will be Team Florida vs. Team California. These two teams have outlasted their opponents all week long--each were undefeated at 3-0 in pool play to win their respective pool to move on to the final game.

Florida and California entered the week as two of the favorites to win the tournament, largely based on the amount of college commitments each roster has. Combined between the two teams, 30 players are already committed to play baseball in college--mostly to schools in power 5 conferences. To put that into perspective, there are 35 players combined between the two rosters, leaving only 5 players that haven’t committed yet. If you are a baseball fan, don’t miss the chance to watch these elite high school talents play before they move on from high school ball.

Players traveled from all over the country for a chance to play on a national stage, which is aired by ESPNU—and to win a championship for their home state. Tune in at 7pm Thursday night or come out to Constellation Field and see the action for yourself!
