Flagler College Tournament
On Saturday, NFBL played Indians Gold in their first game of the Flagler College Tournament at St. Joseph's Academy. They took a quick lead going up 5-2 in the first inning but they just couldn't hold them. Throughout the next few innings, Indians Gold picked up a run here and there and eventually tied it in the 6th. Both teams wouldn't score anymore runs and the game would end in a 5-5 tie.
On Sunday, NFBL played two games. One at 1PM at St. Joeseph's Academy and the other at 330PM at Flagler College. In the first game, they took on the North Florida Storm. NFBL didn't seem to show up for this game. The storm took an early 2-0 lead but then had two big innings, one in the 3rd and the other in the 6th scoring 4 runs in each. NF Storm would eventually defeat NFBL 10-0.
Right after their big loss, NFBL had to travel to Flagler College in time for their 330PM game where they took on FCBA. Both teams had a decent night at the plate, each with 7 hits. NFBL scored their only run in the 1st inning but that wouldn't be enough. FCBA defeated NFBL 4-1.
