The 2018 PJHL Pollock Division Championship is a rematch of last year as the Mount Forest Patriots and Walkerton Hawks will meet in the final for the second straight year. Last year the Patriots won an exciting seven games series as the two teams went back and forth with momentum swings from game to game.
This year the roles are reversed as Mount Forest enters as the top seed and the Walkerton Hawks as the underdog. The Mount Forest Patriots received a first round bye and then swept the Wingham Ironmen in four games to win their semifinal series. Walkerton beat the Hanover Barons in five games to win their quarterfinal series but were pushed by the Kincardine Bulldogs in the semis. Walkerton lost the first two games, made a coaching change and won the next four straight to knock out the Bulldogs.
