Oakland Unveils 2017-18 Roster
The Oakland University Golden Grizzlies are excited to announce their roster for the 2017-18 season. 26 players have been selected to the roster, including 14 returners.
"We have exceptional skill and energy through our lineup, from top to bottom," said Head Coach Pete Gibb. "There's a good number of new players, but we have an incredible leadership group and returners that will lead the way."
Also a new edition, is Assistant Coach Matt Stirling, who was integral in Oakland's 2016 National Championship win. "I feel good about our roster. We have had some really good practices so far and we're looking forward to seeing some of our new additions in game situations."
Oakland opens the season on Friday, October 6th at home against Saginaw Valley State University. Puck drop at 7:45PM at Detroit Skating Club, in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
