Alliston falls to Orillia in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Ryan Tucci gave the Orillia Terriers a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Alliston Hornets when he scored 15:09 into the extra period.

With the win, Orillia avoided elimination to make the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series.

Tucci was all over the ice for the Terriers, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

Alliston's power play was ineffective against Orillia's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Terriers forced the Hornets' goalies to work between the pipes, launching 41 shots and forcing 38 saves. Tyler Brindle made 32 stops and TJ Sherwood made six.

Orillia additionally got points from Mathew White, who also registered one goal and one assist. Jason Binnie also scored for Orillia.

Alliston kept Orillia's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gordie Weiss made 75 saves on 77 shots.

The Hornets were helped by Matt Hamilton, who racked up one goal. Hamilton scored 15:37 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Mitch Livingston provided the assist. Alliston also got a goal from Payton Dunlop as well. In addition, Alliston received assists from Connor Annett, who had one.

The Terriers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Alliston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
