ACH: DUNLOPS 2ND ANNUAL PLAYER APPRECIATION NIGHT AND ALUMNI GAME

The Whitby Dunlops Hockey Club is pleased to announce that former Dunnie stalwarts Jay McAuley, Mike Van Volsen and Bob McQuat will be honoured at a ceremony prior to the regular season game between the Dunlops and the Dundas Real McCoys on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby.
This recognition is based on several criteria, including player character, team dedication, leadership and sportsmanship. All of these players exude the privilege of being a Dunlop as well as a keen appreciation of the legacy of the Dunlop franchise.
From the Club's perspective, these three played with pride, and with a value system that would make all players, staff and executives of the Dunlop eras proud.
On the same night, the Dunlops will be holding an Alumni game prior to the regular season game. The game will provide a reunion of all former players and executives, and give them all an opportunity to tell each other how great they were!
It all adds up to some interesting hockey and a ton of fun. This game will be held at 4:00 PM. with tickets, priced at $10 and available at the front lobby ticket desk on game day.
