RONNY BETTERLEY - AN INSPIRATION TO ALL
On Sunday, January 14, 2018 during the intermission of the Mooretown Flags and Blenheim Blades game in Blenheim, a very special young hockey player shot to win 4 rounds of golf. His name is Ronny "Tuukka" Betterley. Ronny is an inspiration to all that know him and have had the pleasure of meeting him, including PJHL Stobbs Division Convenor Mark Hagerman (pictured above with Ronny). Ronny battles a rare form of Cancer every day but doesn't let that get in his way of watching and playing the game he loves, the game we all love.
Ronny is a Blades' Super Fan and his brother Joe is a first year defenseman with Blenheim.
Keep your stick on the ice and chin in the air “Tuukka”.
