PJHL: South Conference playoff update

The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) playoffs are well under way and action continues this week in each series.
Here’s how each series stacks up.
SOUTH CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS
Doherty Division Semifinals
(1) Tavistock Braves vs. Woodstock Navy Vets (4)
After sweeping the Burford Bulldogs in round one of the postseason, the Tavistock Braves’ next opponent is the fourth seed Woodstock Navy Vets. Woodstock is seven-game series win over the Paris Mounties. The two teams will play Game 1 of the Doherty Division semifinals Feb. 28 in Tavistock.

(2) Wellesley Applejacks vs. Ayr Centennials (3)
The Wellesley Applejacks are ahead 1-0 in the Doherty Division semifinals series against the Ayr Centennials. The series resumes Thursday night in Ayr.

BLOOMFIELD DIVISION PLAYOFFS
Both semifinal series’ in the Bloomfield Division have concluded and the division finals series will feature the Grimsby Peach Kings and the Glanbrook Rangers. Both the Peach Kings and Rangers are coming off of series sweeps over their respective opponents.
