Cumming Stobbs Division top player for January
For the second time this Provincial Junior Hockey League Stobbs Division season a Blenheim Blades player has been named ‘Player of the Month’.
Second-year forward Kier Cumming, son of Blades assistant coach Bill Cumming, was selected as the division’s top player for January just as teammate Eric Stewardson was for October.
During January Cumming scored six goals and added six assists for 12 points in nine games.
For the regular season Cumming led the Blades in points with 55 thanks to 24 goals and a team high 31 assists. He had five powerplay goals and five powerplay assists.
