Stubberfield, Symons score for Stobbs Division in ‘Prospects Game’
Blenheim Blades rookies Sebastian Stubberfield and Cam Symons each scored a goal for Team Stobbs but they weren’t enough as their squad fell to Team Orr 5-4 in overtime in their Provincial Junior Hockey League ‘Prospects Game’ Saturday in Baden, Ontario.
The game was one of four played by PJHL division teams made up of 16 and 17 year old players.
Dresden Kings netminder Brett Brochu shutout the Orr shooters for the first half of the game before being replaced by Mooretown Flags netminder Adam Mino who allowed all five Orr goals.
Blades leading goal-getter Malcolm Campbell, and Konnor VanHeesch of Blenheim, who plays for the Wallaceburg Lakers, were also members of the Stobbs team.
