Lakeshore, ON - March 5th 2018 - The Lakeshore Canadiens have found themselves in the PJHL STOBBS Division Finals for the second season in a row. Like a scene from Groundhog Day the Canadiens find themselves matched up against the Essex 73's as they hunt for the STOBBS Division Champions banner.

Last night's game one of the PJHL STOBBS Division finals was hosted by the Laskeshore Canadiens.  Lakeshore and Essex fans packed the Atlas Tube Centre to form a crowd of 1,200 to catch what they knew would be a high impact game.

The game got off to a slow start but the energy began to build as they clock paced through the second period.

Lakeshore blasted 23 shots at Essex Goalie Jax DHondt in the second period with only two meeting the mesh he guarded.  The second period closed out with the Canadiens leading by a score or 3-1.

The Canadiens came hot out of the game in the 3rd period netting two more goals in the first half of the period.  The Canadiens went on to win by a final score of 5-2 and now have their sights set on Tuesday, March 6th at 7:30pm when the puck drops for game 2 of the PJHL STOBBS Division Finals.
