The Campbellford Rebels have swung a trade with the Lakefield Chiefs to acquire Campbellford native + Schmalz Cup Champion, Dawson Turcott. Turcott will play his overage year with the REBS after spending the last 3 in Lakefield. GM, Tyler Revoy explained how "Turcott is a proven player in this league and you can’t teach the experience he has; He knows what it takes to win which is why he is so essential for us in building a successful season." When asked, Dawson simply said how "coming home is something that [he's] always wanted. It wasn't easy leaving Campbellford after [his] time with the @campbellfordcolts but you go where the best opportunity lies. [He's] bringing back that experience and [is] looking forward to a new chapter in Rebs history."
