Navy Vets looking for 1st win of season
The Woodstock Navy Vets will try to avoid falling to 0-5 when they host the Paris Mounties Friday at 7:45. It's the second time the teams have met this season. Paris won the first game 8-6.
Woodstock's offence slowed down last weekend, scoring three goals in a pair of losses after scoring nine in its opening weekend. It's early, but Navy Vets forward Derek Cowing leads all Niagara League players with five goals and is second with seven points in four games. Mackenzie Langford's six assists are tops among all NDJHL players. Kyle Robertson is tied for second with five assists in four games.
