Stars Acquire Rights to Sam Vokes
The North Middlesex Stars have acquired the rights to twenty year old forward, Sam Vokes from the Exeter Hawks.
Vokes, a native of nearby Strathroy, Ontario has managed to tally 108 points in his Jr C career which has included stops in Alvinston and Exeter. His first game with the Stars will be his 100th Jr C game played and oddly enough could come against his former team, the Exeter Hawks as the Hawks are in Parkhill to take on the Stars on Saturday night.
Sam also bring experience at the Jr B level having scored 45 points in the nearly 70 games he's played for the Strathroy Rockets.
Additional to acquiring the rights to Sam Vokes, the Stars have also signed Parkhill native Nathan Campbell of the North Middlesex Jr. Stars to an Affiliate Player card.
