The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) and the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA), today announced that 12 referees and 11 linesmen have been selected as candidates to work the best-of-seven OJHL Championship Series starting on April 11, 2015 at Westwood Arena in Toronto.

The South-West Conference champion and defending OJHL champion Toronto Patriots will be facing the North-East Conference champion Kingston Voyageurs in quest of the OJHL Championship and the OHA’s Frank L. The following is the list of Officials who have been selected as candidates to work the OJHL Championship

“The selection of candidates to officiate the 2015 OJHL Finals are the result of a collaborative effort between the OJHL and the OHA,” said OHA Director of Officiating Bob Morley.  “While working the OJHL playoffs, all the candidates listed were evaluated by Officiating Managers.  Those evaluations, along with input from the OJHL, will provide the best available Officials with OJHL experience for the Championship Series.  Much like the players, an Official’s goal is to be involved in a Championship, and these Officials have worked hard to achieve that goal.”

“One of the goals of the OJHL in the 2014-15 season was to develop a larger pool of Officials who have the capabilities to officiate our Championship Series," said OJHL Director of Officiating Rob MacGregor. "This year we have named 12 referees and 11 linesmen that have been chosen as possible candidates to officiate in the Final. These 23 Officials have all worked very hard this year and on behalf of the OJHL, I would like to thank them all for a job well done.  At this time, we would also like to thank all of the other OHA Officials who have officiated in the OJHL this past winter. Our league would not be where it is today, if we didn’t have the quality of officials working the rinks every night."
