OJHL LAUNCHES ONLINE STORE
The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that they have officially launched an online retail store. The online store is yet another step in the league’s long-term strategic growth, which will now see our apparel available on a large-scale to all of our fans, everywhere.
“The launch of our online store serves two important purposes for the league moving forward. Not only does it allow our fans the opportunity to purchase both team and league apparel on a much larger scale than ever before, but it also helps promote the OJHL brand, franchises and players by having our logo featured prominently on merchandise,” stated OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy.
Burlington Cougars’ General Manager Mark Hetherman discussed the positive results that have already been seen by his club in using the program, “The Cougars has not typically sold team apparel because of the inventory required and no effective way to reach out to our fans. The ability for our fans to order online allows them to represent their passion for the team with an easy order and delivery system. Reaction from our fans has been very positive.”
League merchandise is currently available with the OJHL logo, as well as the Brampton Capitals and Burlington Cougars, both of who were both part of the site’s pilot project. Merchandise is easily customizable by product, colour, size and logo. Please stay tuned as other member clubs join the program.
