ROBERTSON COMMITS TO NCAA D1 UNION
Whitby Fury forward Liam Robertson (Photo by Andy Corneau / OJHL Images) has committed to the NCAA Division 1 Union College Dutchmen in Schenectady, NY beginning in the 2019-20 season. The 6-foot-2 forward tallied 18 goals and 36 points in 46 games this past season. He has amassed 47 points during 89 games in his two years with the Fury.
“I’m super excited and can’t wait” said Robertson who will return to the Fury for the 2018-19 season.
OJHL graduates on the Union roster this past season included Liam Morgan (Trenton), Greg Campbell (Oakville), Luc Brown (Wellington) and former Kingston Voyageurs Anthony Rinaldi and Zachary Emelifeonwu.
The 17-year-old played his bantam and minor midget AAA seasons with his hometown Clarington Toros.
