The Oakville Blades have announced that athletic therapist Natalie Figueira has taken a job with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The Blades pride themselves with helping to contribute to moving players and staff forward in their careers.
"Natalie is the consummate professional.  I can simply say our team wouldn't have been as successful as it was without Natalie." Blades Vice President Mike Tarantino said. "She spent countless hours to prevent, treat, and rehab our players to allow them to perform at their top level.  Her professional and caring approach exceeded our expectations and I know she will be an excellent addition to the Toronto Argonauts"
Figueira just finished her second season with the club. She was a key member to this season's team that saw the club finish with their best record in franchise history and claim the
Buckland Cup and the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Natalie had this to say about her time with the Blades, "The team will always be something to remember for me. I am so grateful for everyone that I met along the way and the experience we all got to have together. I couldn’t be more proud of what everyone accomplished."
