The Buzzers are waiting to find out who their opponent will be in the second round of the OJHL playoffs after they swept the Toronto Patriots where Martino scored 2 goals and 5 assists for an impressive 6 points in 4 games. Martino was also selected to play in the 2019-20 OJHL All Star Prospect Game where he had 1 goal and 1 assist for Team Shore. Martino was voted the Buzzers Scotiabank Fan Favourite of the year. The Buzzers and fans will miss his presence next year as he will be playing for Clarkson University in NCAA Division 1.

Dirk Stadig – Toronto Patriots

Dirk Stadig led the Patriots defense in scoring with 53 points (18 G/35 A) and finishing 3rd league wide in defensive scoring. This was Stadig’s second full year in the OJHL, while APing the previous two seasons. He has been increasing his point total every year. Stadig’s play this past season got him voted as an All Star for the 2019-20 OJHL All Star Celebration last November where he was represented Team Burns. The Toronto native has one more year of eligibility in the OJHL and looks to continue his impressive play on the blueline.

Amedeo Mastrangeli – Markham Royals

Amedeo Mastrangeli showed that he is one of the top defensemen in the OJHL this past season. Finishing 2nd on the Markham Royals in points and 4th league wide in points for defensemen is not an easy task. Capping off a 3-year career in the OJHL with 51 points in 54 games (8 G/43 A), it was clear that Mastrangeli was going to be a big part of any team he was on the blue line for. He joined Markham from the Whitby Fury in a mid-season deal. He was named to Team Burns as an All Star for the 2019-20 OJHL All Star Celebration where he added an assist to his resume.
