CALGARY, Alta. – Plenty of the quality goaltenders across the Canadian Junior Hockey League posted some impressive save percentage numbers during the 2019-20 regular season.

None were better than Brendan Bonello of the Pickering Panthers in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. Bonello led the nation with a .946 save percentage
In all, 38 netminders registered a save mark of .915, or better, among those stoppers who saw a minimum of 1,400 minutes of game action.
There were also 10 goalkeepers that had a save percentage of .930 or better during the campaign. They included OJHLers Bonello, Nathan Torchia of the Georgetown Raider and Matthew Dunsmoor of the Wellington Dukes.

Bonello will join the York University Lions in the OUA beginning with the 2020-21 season.

The 20-year-old went 19-5-1 in the OJHL after joining Pickering from Kingston of the OHL on Oct. 31. Bonello was second in GAA (1.86) during the OJHLregular season.

The native of Mississauga finished second to Torchia in voting by league GMs and media members for OJHL Goaltender of the Year.
Here is the list of the leaders the season from across Canada.
