PICKERING FACING FLIN FLON IN CENTENNIAL CUP QUARTERFINAL
The Pickering Panthers will play the Flin Flon Bombers in a quarterfinal game at the 2022 Centennial Cup.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League champion Panthers and Saskatchewan league finalist Bombers meet Friday at 6 p.m. in Estevan, Sask.
Both teams went 3-1-0 in the round-robin.
The other quarterfinal is an all-east affair, Collège Français de Longueuil of Quebec vs. PEI’s Summerside Western Capitals (9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT)
Alberta’s Brooks Bandits and Manitoba’s Dauphin Kings finished on top of respective divisions to earn berths in Saturday’s semifinals.
TSN and RDS, Hockey Canada’s official broadcast partners, will broadcast the championship game at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on May 29, with all playoff-round games livestreamed at HockeyCanada.ca.
