“Very happy for Adrian,” said 99ers’ Governor and General Manager Darren DeDobbelaer. “Adrian has all the tools as well as a hard work ethic to excel in the OHL. Adrian is a great individual, teammate and player. The Bulldogs are fortunate to have him.”

The Waterdown resident, who turned 18 July 22, was selected by Hamilton in the 10th round of the 2020 OHL U16 draft.

“Adrian possesses a very strong work ethic and stood out during Brantford’s ‘21-22 season with his smooth skating and puck-handling,” said Hamilton Bulldogs President and General Manager Steve Staios.

In 2019-20 with the Jr. Bulldogs, he scored 28 points in 31 regular season games and had a playoff record of 6 points in 8 games. With the U18 team, Adrian tallied 4 points in 7 regular season games and during the playoffs had 3 points in 4 games.

In 2022, Rebelo received the all-star prospect award with the 99ers. He played 50 games scoring 11 goals and 20 assists.

Congratulations to Adrian and best of luck in the OHL!
