OJ TODAY TV SHOW BACK FOR 7TH SEASON
October 18, 2022, Mississauga, ON – …. The OJ Today TV show is back.
Now in its seventh season, the monthly production focuses on all things Ontario Junior Hockey League, including player, team and alumni features, Players of the Month, great plays and getting you all caught up with what is going on in the OJHL.

The episode includes a feature on the league’s leading scorer, Tyler Fukakusa of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Four-year OJHLer Justin Paul, now on scholarship at NCAA Division I St. Lawrence University, has some timely advice for players currently in the league.
Veteran Canadian broadcaster Alex Bastyovanszky is the show’s producer and host. In the first episode, he looks back at the 2021-22 season with an eye on the current campaign.
Team executives interviewed include Rob Pearson (Pickering), Vince Bellissimo (Jr. Canadiens), Mike Tarantino (Collingwood) and Jason Tryfon (Milton). Broadcasters and writers on the first show include Ron Valentine, Joe Montesano and Alan Corkum.
The 2022-23 season of The OJ Today will include eight shows, ending in May 2022. Show dates are: Oct. 17, Nov. 11, Dec. 16, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 3, April 7 and May 5.
Originally launched on Rogers TV, episodes of The OJ Today are now posted on the OJHL’s YouTube Channel, with links from the OJHL website homepage. Several of this year’s shows will also be broadcast on CHCH-TV at the conclusion of the OJHL Game of the Week. The game-of-the-week schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League is the largest Junior ‘A’ league operating under the auspices of the Canadian Junior Hockey League with 22 member clubs.
