HAWKS ACQUIRE COLTS CAPTAIN, SURIYUTH
Today the Trenton Golden Hawks made a trade with the Collingwood Colts, acquiring Andrew Suriyuth (F - 1999) in exchange for Tyler Ignazzitto (F - 2000).
Suriyuth, who is captain of the Collingwood Colts, 4th season in the OJHL and has posted 111 points (49 G, 62 A) over his career, including 17 points (8 G, 9 A) in 17 games thus far with the Colts. The former Kingston Voyageur joins his old teammates Adam Kim and Colin van den Hurk on the Golden Hawks, which should help Andrew acclimatize to his new team.
The Golden Hawks would like to thank Tyler Ignazzitto for his contributions to the Golden Hawks over the past year and a half and wish him well with his new team. Tyler was a true professional and class act during his time with the Golden Hawks.
Suriyuth will make his Golden Hawks debut this weekend and the team plays 3 games in 3 nights on the road, starting on Thursday vs the St. Michael's Buzzers. Andrew will wear number 53.
