PAIR OF GOLDEN HAWKS HIT MILESTONES OVER WEEKEND

This weekend a pair of Golden Hawks forwards hit the 200 OJHL Games Played milestone, with Adam Kim (Kingston, ON) playing in his 200th game on Friday when the G-Hawks defeated the Whitby Fury and Andrew Suriyuth (Kingston, ON) hitting the milestone a game later, as the G-Hawks beat the Muskies on Sunday. 

 

Adam Kim began his junior career with stops in Amherstview (PJHL), before jumping to Juinor A by signing with the Kingston Voyageurs (OJHL), and later the Johnstown Tomahawks (NAHL), before joining the Golden Hawks this September. A 30-scorer in the OJHL and former captain of the Voyageurs, Adam's been a productive player scoring 166 points in his 201 games, adding a pair of assists in 8 career playoff games. 

 

Andrew Suriyuth, also a former Voyageur, began his career in Kingston and followed the team when it relocated to Collingwood, becoming the first captain of the newly founded Colts. Acquired by the Golden Hawks, Andrew has posted 40 points (15 G, 25 A) in just 32 games for the Hawks and over his 200 games in the OJHL: has put up 64 goals and 87 assists for 151 points, while adding another 6 points in 9 playoff games.

 

Both young men have had fantastic junior hockey careers, captaining their own franchises and posting significant point totals in their 200+ game careers. The Golden Hawks would like to congratulate the players on their accomplishments and look forward to seeing what this dynamic duo can do come playoffs.
