Florida Eels uses early goal to top Tampa Bay Juniors, 2-0

Florida Eels beat Tampa Bay Juniors, 2-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

A goal 15:30 into the the first period by Kenan Ural proved to be the game winner, and powered Florida Eels to the victory Brian Dennerlein provided the assist.

The win by Florida Eels clinched the best of three series at 2-1.

Florida Eels was led by Ural, who finished with one goal.

Florida Eels also got a goal from Vasili Malliaras as well. In addition, Florida Eels received assists from Shilo Vega, Jonathan Appell, and Jonathan Carlson, who each chipped in one.

Tampa Bay Juniors did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Florida Eels ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Tampa Bay Juniors registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
