The Douglas get 9 strikeouts from Duggan in 2-0 win over the Everett
A great effort by Cory Duggan led the Douglas (19-20) to a 2-0 win over the Everett (25-20) on Friday at David Story Field.
Duggan held the Everett scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up nine.
Alex Gray was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.
