Anton nets hat trick, leads South Fayette - JV to 10-1 win over Butler 2 - JV

Steven Anton netted a hat trick to lead South Fayette - JV over Butler two - JV, 10-1.

Anton got on the scoresheet zero seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 1:04 into the first and at 1:59 into the third.

South Fayette - JV led 5-0 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after.

South Fayette - JV excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. South Fayette - JV forced Butler two - JV goalie Nicholas Lefevre to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. South Fayette - JV found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. South Fayette - JV has scored at the pace of 5.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

South Fayette - JV also got points from Augie Bishop, who also had two goals and one assist, Daniel Pollock, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Jack Evanish, who also registered two goals and three assists to lead the team in points, and Ryan Sossi, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. In addition, South Fayette - JV received assists from Tim Hanna, who had two.

South Fayette - JV's defense shut down Butler two - JV's forwards for much of the game, and Butler two - JV got off only 10 shots during the contest.

Bruce Hardman rejected nine shots on goal for South Fayette - JV. South Fayette - JV incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Nicholas Lefevre made 27 saves for Butler two - JV on 37 shots. Butler two - JV incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
