Burrell - JV squeaks by Armstrong - JV, 4-3

Burrell - JV and Armstrong - JV were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Burrell - JV made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Devon McGill's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

With three goals and one assist between them, Jonathan Schueler and McGill teamed up to power Burrell - JV's offense. Schueler registered two goals and one assist and McGill also added one goal.

Burrell - JV stifled Armstrong - JV's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The defensemen of Burrell - JV were also effective in Armstrong - JV's zone, and came away with three goals.

Burrell - JV also got points from Bryce Schueler, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Burrell - JV received assists from Ryne Shaffer and Ian Kobal, who contributed one each.

Armstrong - JV was led by Nicholas Benvenuti, who tallied two goals and one assist. Benvenuti scored the first of his two goals at 7:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Armstrong - JV. Blair Green picked up the assist. Benvenuti's next tally made the score 2-2 with 13:46 left in the third period. Herik Milliron also scored for Armstrong - JV. Other players who recorded assists for Armstrong - JV were Kooltyn Livengood, who had one.

Burrell - JV's Jordon Thiel stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Burrell - JV incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Armstrong - JV's starting goalie, Jacob Lorigan, made 13 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Luke Brison, who stopped seven shots. Armstrong - JV incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
