Beaver rolls over Meadville, 6-2

Beaver had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Meadville.

Beaver was led by Vince Delsignore, who finished with one goal. Delsignore scored 7:55 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Beaver. David Dioguardi provided the assist.

Beaver put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Meadville to score on any of its three power plays. Beaver was held below its usual level of production. Beaver averages 8.2 goals per game.

Beaver also got points from Andrew Begley, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Evan Komlenic also scored for Beaver. In addition, Beaver received assists from Tanner Palocsik, who had one and Ryan Hartman and Antoni Chirgott, who each chipped in three.

Meadville managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Meadville finished below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. Meadville could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Meadville puts an average of 6.7 pucks into the net per game. Meadville's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Meadville is averaging 2.2 goals against for the season.

Meadville was led by Nicholas Frantz, who racked up one goal. Frantz scored 4:21 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Meadville also got a goal from Barrett Hoffman as well. More assists for Meadville came via Dillon Steiner, who had one.

James Soisson recorded 24 saves for Beaver. Beaver incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Edward Kaufman took the loss and made 18 saves before being replaced by Samuel Kineston who made three saves.
