Indiana - JV blows out Norwin - JV, 6-1

Indiana - JV had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Norwin - JV.

Indiana - JV got the win with help from a great game by Nathan Trenny, who had two goals and one assist. Trenny scored the first of his two goals at 19 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Indiana - JV. Aaron Burkhart assisted on the tally. Trenny's next tally made the score 4-0 Indiana - JV with 12:02 left in the second period. Waylon Murray picked up the assist.

Indiana - JV forced Norwin - JV's netminders to work all game long, firing 37 shots and forcing 31 saves. Austin Imro made 31 stops and Jarrod Hernandez made zero. Indiana - JV's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Norwin - JV power plays. Indiana - JV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Indiana - JV additionally got points from Alexander Guth-Borowski, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Murray, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Indiana - JV included Edward Williams and Eric Berkey, who scored one goal each.

Norwin - JV found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 14 shots against Indiana - JV's defense. Norwin - JV could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 30 minutes in penalties during the game.

Madison Barker recorded 13 saves for Indiana - JV. Indiana - JV incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
