Bethel Park downs Butler, 5-2

Jacob Mueser registered one point to lead Bethel Park to a 5-2 victory over Butler.

Bethel Park forced Butler's goalies to work without much rest, racking up 43 shots and forcing 38 saves. Clay Bachman made 23 stops and Jacob Curry made 15. Bethel Park stifled Butler's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Bethel Park also got points from Andrew Bello, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Ethan Wdowiak, who also had one goal and two assists. Bethel Park also had goals scored by Spencer Bawcom and Antonio Esposito, who scored one goal each. In addition, Bethel Park received assists from Jason Bauer, who had one, Gary Cerrone, who had two, and Louie McLinden, who had three.

Butler was held below its usual level of production. Butler averages 4.4 goals per game. Butler's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Butler averages 2.5 goals allowed per game.

William Lowe III rejected 20 shots on goal for Bethel Park. Bethel Park incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Butler incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
