Montour relied on the scoring touch of Camron Smith, who netted four goals, to beat Gateway, 7-1.

Montour stifled Gateway's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Gateway was unable to stop Montour from sending pucks towards the net, and Montour eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Montour outdid its season average for goals scored.
