Greater Latrobe holds on for 4-3 win against Baldwin
Greater Latrobe survived a determined comeback attempt by Baldwin on the way to a 4-3 win.
Greater Latrobe took a 4-2 lead during the second period, only to have Baldwin storm back on a Paul Knerr goal 16:52 into the third period to pull to one goal down.
Greater Latrobe was led by Brendan Johns, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Johns scored 15:41 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Greater Latrobe. Evan Clarke-Deaver picked up the assist.
Greater Latrobe also got points from Cole Novak, who also registered one goal and one assist and Cory Gates, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Greater Latrobe also got a goal from Blake Rossi as well. In addition, Greater Latrobe received assists from Daniel Johnson and Jack Schultheis, who contributed one each.
Baldwin kept Greater Latrobe's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Pal made 29 saves on 32 shots.
Mark Ohanlon also scored for Baldwin. More assists for Baldwin came via Easton Tamburri, Nickolas Antonio, and Max Milan, who each chipped in one.
