Hampton outlasts Baldwin, 5-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Hampton escaped with a 5-3 victory over Baldwin.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Jordan Zabroski at 14:03 of the second period.

Justin Adamski had a great game for Hampton, netting two goals. Adamski scored at 8:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hampton and again while 16:26 into the second to make the score 4-2 Hampton.

Hampton also got points from Justin Weinbrenner, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Spencer Homitz also scored for Hampton. In addition, Hampton received assists from Daniel White, who had two and Jason Reinert, Alex Michel, and Daniel Grob, who contributed one each.

Hampton was unable to stop Baldwin from sending pucks towards the net, and Baldwin eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Baldwin was led by Max Milan, who registered two goals and one assist. Milan scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 5:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Hampton. Baldwin had taken the advantage when Hampton's William Meglio got sent off for roughing. Paul Knerr provided the assist. Milan's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Hampton with 16:36 left in the third period. Knerr picked up the assist. Baldwin additionally got points from Kenny Dee, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Baldwin were Easton Tamburri, who had one.

Kameron Bott recorded 34 saves for Hampton. Hampton incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Dylan Desimone made 19 saves for Baldwin on 24 shots. Baldwin incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
