Central Catholic - JV penalty kill dominates in 4-1 defeat of Mars - JV

Mars - JV failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Central Catholic - JV shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-1.

Central Catholic - JV was led by Anthony Purdue, who finished with one goal. Purdue scored 4:39 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Central Catholic - JV.

Central Catholic - JV excelled on the penalty kill, only allowing Mars - JV to get one power play goal on 15 chances. Central Catholic - JV did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 11 shots on net to force seven saves.
