Hempfield 2 - MS and Hempfield 1 - MS skate to 4-4 tie

Hempfield two - MS found itself down againt Hempfield one - MS, but battled back to secure to a 4-4 tie.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Hempfield two - MS was led by Matt Bartus, who tallied two goals. Bartus scored the first of his two goals short handed at 11:24 into the first period to make the score 2-2. A tripping call on Harley OBrachta put Hempfield two - MS on the penalty kill. Bartus' next tally short handed made the score 4-4 with 11:54 left in the third period. Others who scored for Hempfield two - MS included Trent Gray and Jason Stewart, who scored one goal each. More assists for Hempfield two - MS came via Nick Lippa, who had one.

Hempfield one - MS put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hempfield two - MS to score on any of its three power plays.

Hempfield one - MS was led by Jared Gerger, who had three goals and one assist. Josh Martino also scored for Hempfield one - MS. Other players who recorded assists for Hempfield one - MS were Jaxson Zeli and Alex Savisky, who contributed one each.

Hempfield two - MS' Billy Gillis stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Hempfield two - MS incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Sean Lanager rejected 25 shots on goal for Hempfield one - MS. Hempfield one - MS incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
