Hough stymies Upper St. Clair B, Morgantown wins 4-1

Jacob Hough stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead Morgantown to a 4-1 victory over Upper St. Clair B.

Morgantown was sparked by Kienan Battin, who finished with one goal. Battin scored short handed 2:46 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Morgantown. Morgantown found itself down a man on Max Snider's tripping.

Morgantown excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Morgantown also got points from Aaron John (AJ) Adams, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Morgantown also got a goal from Nate Frisbee as well. Other players who recorded assists for Morgantown were Zachariah Barry, Zac Lewis, and Cullen Gookin, who contributed one each.

Morgantown was unable to stop Upper St. Clair B from sending pucks towards the net, and Upper St. Clair B eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Upper St. Clair B was led by Sean Stevenson, who scored the team's only goal. Stevenson scored 3:37 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Morgantown. Elliot Stevenson assisted on the tally.

Morgantown incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Anthony Petito rejected 23 shots on goal for Upper St. Clair B. Upper St. Clair B incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
