Plum - JV outlasts Armstrong - JV, 4-2

Plum - JV and Armstrong - JV were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Plum - JV made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Ryan Mascaro's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

With three goals and two assists between them, Alexi Mance and Mascaro teamed up to power Plum - JV's offense. Mance registered two goals and one assist and Mascaro also notched one goal and one assist.

Plum - JV stifled Armstrong - JV's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Plum - JV kept Armstrong - JV's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jacob Lorigan made 28 saves on 32 shots.

Plum - JV also got points from Mascaro, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Plum - JV also got a goal from John Kadlecik as well. More assists for Plum - JV came via Louis Poprocky and Colin Patton, who each chipped in one.

Armstrong - JV put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Plum - JV to score on any of its five power plays.

Armstrong - JV was led by Jesse Toy, who had two goals. Toy scored the first of his two goals at 8:28 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Kooltyn Livengood picked up the assist. Toy's next tally made the score 2-2 with 14:25 left in the second period. Herik Milliron assisted on the tally.

Plum - JV's Sergio Benitez stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Plum - JV incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Armstrong - JV incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
