The game between State College AAA and Norwin AAA was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end State College AAA emerged with a 5-4 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Andrew Skipper's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

State College AAA got the win with help from a great game by Jared Karas, who had two goals and two assists. Karas scored the first of his two goals at 14:23 into the second period to make the score 3-1 State College AAA. Lucas Michael assisted on the tally. Karas' next tally made the score 4-4 with 9:34 left in the third period. State College AAA earned a power play opportunity when Alex Moxie was put in the box for interference. Michael picked up the assist.

The defensemen of State College AAA were also effective in Norwin AAA's zone, and came away with two goals.

State College AAA also got points from Brendan Horgas, who also registered one goal and one assist. State College AAA also got a goal from Sey Yeaple as well.

Norwin AAA kept State College AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Chris Rosselot made 29 saves on 33 shots.

Norwin AAA was helped by Jon Shirley, who racked up one goal. Shirley scored 7:25 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Norwin AAA. Elijah Reith assisted on the tally. Norwin AAA additionally got points from Reith, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Timothy Palmer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
