Quinn's hat trick boosts Quaker Valley over Hampton, 6-3

Connor Quinn lifted Quaker Valley to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against Hampton.

Quinn's first goal came 1:56 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:31 into the third and at 15:35 into the third.

Quaker Valley forced Hampton goalie Connor Andrews to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Quaker Valley found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays.

Quaker Valley also got points from Ryan Quinn, who also tallied two goals and one assist and Beau Tomczak, who also had one goal and four assists. In addition, Quaker Valley received assists from Owen Harkins, who had two and Peter Hall, Daniel Fagan, and Noah Shultz, who contributed one each.

Hampton's offense rang up 37 shots on Quaker Valley's net.

Hampton was helped by Daniel White, who tallied one goal. White scored on the power play 9:48 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Hampton had gotten the advantage when Quaker Valley's Shultz was sent off for tripping. Kody Reiser provided the assist. Others who scored for Hampton included Jae Young Jan and Luke Cirlingione, who each put in one. More assists for Hampton came via Justin Weinbrenner, who had three.

Connor Gatesman made 34 saves for Quaker Valley on 37 shots. Quaker Valley registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Hampton's Andrews stopped 27 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Hampton incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
