Shultz leads Quaker Valley over North Hills, 7-2
Behind a great game by Noah Shultz, who had two goals and two assists, Quaker Valley defeated North Hills, 7-2.
Shultz's tallies came at 4:36 into the third period to make the score 5-2 Quaker Valley and 10:19 into the third to make the score 6-2 Quaker Valley.Quaker Valley's offense rang up 37 shots on North Hills' net.
Quaker Valley also got points from Ricardo Fernandez, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jake Giotto, who also racked up one goal and two assists, and Beau Tomczak, who also had one goal and one assist. Quaker Valley also got a goal from Connor Quinn as well. In addition, Quaker Valley received assists from Alexander Ritz, who had two and Jack Woodburn, Peter Hall, and Connor Gatesman, who each chipped in one.
North Hills was helped by Gannon Warrick, who tallied one goal. Warrick scored 13:43 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alex Kraus picked up the assist. Samuel Urbanek also scored for North Hills.
Regina Granata rejected 20 shots on goal for Quaker Valley. Quaker Valley ended with no penalties and went 1-for-5 on the power play. North Hills' Dominic Porco stopped 30 shots out of the 37 that he faced. North Hills incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities.
