Quaker Valley beats Baldwin 5-2 as Quinn gets hat trick

Connor Quinn netted a hat trick to lead Quaker Valley over Baldwin, 5-2.

Quinn's first goal came 8:21 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:49 into the second and at 14:23 into the second.

Quaker Valley forced Baldwin's goalies to work all game long, finishing with 35 shots and forcing 30 saves. Cole Shannon made 17 stops and Dylan Desimone made 13.

Quaker Valley also got points from Ryan Quinn, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Quaker Valley were Beau Tomczak, who had two and Jack Woodburn and Peter Hall, who contributed one each.

Baldwin was led by Max Milan, who registered two goals. Milan scored the first of his two goals at 2:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Baldwin. Paul Knerr assisted on the tally. Milan's next tally made the score 2-1 Baldwin with 9:10 left in the first period. Dan Figura picked up the assist. More assists for Baldwin came via Russ Zofcin, who had one.

Connor Gatesman made 19 saves for Quaker Valley on 21 shots. Quaker Valley avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored two goals off of four power plays. Baldwin incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities.
