Timmons leads South Fayette over Kiski Area, 5-0
South Fayette's Jordan Timmons had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-0 win over Kiski Area.
Timmons notched his first tally 3:26 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:10 into the first, at 58 seconds into the second, and at 4:37 into the third.South Fayette put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kiski Area to score on any of its five power plays. South Fayette kept Kiski Area's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alexander Ferraro made 37 saves on 42 shots.
South Fayette also got points from John Lipovich, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for South Fayette came via Jacob Stack, who had two and Augie Bishop, Daniel Pollock, and Brandon Poage, who contributed one each.
Kiski Area could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Kiski Area averages 3.8 goals per game.
South Fayette took out Bruce Hardman after he had made six saves and installed Kyle Sharp in goal, where he finished with 17 saves and the win. South Fayette incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kiski Area incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
