Farrell nets hat trick, leads Mt. Lebanon - AAA to 6-2 win over Penn-Trafford - AAA

Penn-Trafford - AAA could not stop Mt. Lebanon - AAA's George Farrell, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-2 win.

Farrell got on the scoresheet 3:15 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:06 into the second and at 12:20 into the third.

Mt. Lebanon - AAA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Penn-Trafford - AAA to score on any of its three power plays. Mt. Lebanon - AAA kept Penn-Trafford - AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Eric Phelps made 27 saves on 33 shots. Mt. Lebanon - AAA bested its season scoring average. This season, Mt. Lebanon - AAA averages 3.3 goals per contest.

Mt. Lebanon - AAA also got a goal from Nathan Enterline as well. Other players who recorded assists for Mt. Lebanon - AAA were Max Manzo, who had one, Reed Farber, who had four, and Griffin Nelson and Walker Troy, who contributed two each.

Penn-Trafford - AAA was led by Cam Williams, who tallied two goals. Williams scored the first of his two goals at 9:46 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Mt. Lebanon - AAA. Williams' next tally made the score 5-2 Mt. Lebanon - AAA with 6:27 left in the third period. James Gojkovich assisted on the tally.

Joel Kirshner made 23 saves for Mt. Lebanon - AAA on 25 shots. Mt. Lebanon - AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Penn-Trafford - AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
