Thomas Jefferson rolls over Westmont Hilltop, 5-1

Thomas Jefferson had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Westmont Hilltop.

Thomas Jefferson got the win with help from a great game by Mathew Krieger, who had two goals and one assist. Krieger scored the first of his two goals short handed at 14:01 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Thomas Jefferson. An elbowing call on John Piscitelli put Thomas Jefferson on the penalty kill. Krieger's next tally short handed made the score 4-1 Thomas Jefferson with 17:02 left in the third period. Daniel Harrold picked up the assist.

Thomas Jefferson excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Thomas Jefferson kept Westmont Hilltop's goalie busy throughout the game, and David Cavrak made 32 saves on 37 shots.

Thomas Jefferson also got points from Hayden Hintemeyer, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Harrold, who also registered one goal and two assists. Thomas Jefferson also got a goal from Kevin Koett as well. More assists for Thomas Jefferson came via Dominic Tamburi and Brian Ochs, who each chipped in one.
