South Fayette beats Wheeling Park 9-0 as Barber gets hat trick

Spencer Barber netted a hat trick to lead South Fayette over Wheeling Park, 9-0.

Barber notched his first tally 7:13 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:22 into the first and at 14:53 into the second.

South Fayette gained an early advantage, leading 5-0 by the end of the first period.

South Fayette's offense rang up 41 shots on Wheeling Park's net. South Fayette got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

South Fayette also got points from Brendan Nelson, who also registered one goal and one assist. South Fayette also had goals scored by Jacob Stack, who had two and Logan McConnell, Alex Orlandini, and Jeremy Anthos, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for South Fayette were Ian Kumar, who had two and Eric Milburn and John Trinkala, who each chipped in one.

Kyle Sharp recorded 17 saves for South Fayette. South Fayette incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dorothy Romanek made 32 saves for Wheeling Park on 41 shots. Wheeling Park incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
