The Mt. Hood make the most of 7 hits in 6-3 victory over the Lane

The Mt. Hood (31-12) and the Lane (26-17) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Mt. Hood that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-3 win at Titan Field .

Taylor Travess racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Mt. Hood. He.

Joe Balfour picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Balfour pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five.

Trevor Casanova had three extra-base hits for the Lane. He tripled in the third inning and doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Shane Quarterley couldn't get it done on the hill for the Lane, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
