In an exciting event, Kyle Heidt and Noah Langford signed with the Potomac Patriots today. Both are 2015 National Champions and veterans of the 2015 National Championship Ashburn U18AA team.  Heidt and Langford were both heavily scouted and recruited during the 2015 season from various Connecticut Prep schools, the NA3, and other USPHL organizations.

"There's a clear reason they signed with us - they know the brand of hockey we're going to play this year. These players add an entirely different dimension to our offense.  They understand advanced concepts and can compete at the highest levels of our game. Both players are elite caliber skaters, have amazing hands in traffic, and maintain the intangibles I look for in hockey players" said Coach Sean Braziel.

Coach Andy Newton agreed: "They were impressive to watch!  Having these young men on our team will set the bar high.  We have depth with some of our returning players - but adding these two players just raised the standard.  It's very clear that Virginia is becoming a hockey hotbed and we're in the center of it."

"We're excited to have these young men join our organization.  There is no doubt these two players will be offensive threats for the Patriots.  I'm proud Kyle and Noah will represent the Potomac Patriots in 2015 - 2016" stated GM RJ Zeigler.
