LEASIDE beats MISSISSAUGA 3-0 as Toland gains shutout

Danielle Toland was superb between the pipes for LEASIDE, as she did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over MISSISSAUGA.

LEASIDE was led by Karissa Hoskin (PU), who racked up one goal. Hoskin (PU) scored 1:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LEASIDE. Siobhan Birch provided the assist.

LEASIDE also had goals scored by Mariah Hinds and Olivia Reid, who scored one goal each. More assists for LEASIDE came via Emma Pye, who had two and Alex Woods and Megan Pardy, who contributed one each.

MISSISSAUGA was held below its usual level of production. MISSISSAUGA puts an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. MISSISSAUGA kept LEASIDE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Toland made 37 saves on 37 shots.

LEASIDE incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Carmen Lasis made 21 saves for MISSISSAUGA on 24 shots. MISSISSAUGA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
